Nepal-Ireland Day

July 7 @ 12.00pm - 4.00pm

Children dancing at Nepal Ireland Day celebration

The Nepal-Ireland Day on the 7th of July will include a cultural programme with performances from both Nepalese and Irish artists. The event will also include an exhibition, Nepalese handicraft stalls, and various other activities and performances.

The Nepal Ireland Society organized the very first Nepal Day in Ireland in September 2013 in Farmleigh. The government of Ireland provided the venue in support of ushering Nepalese culture and arts in Ireland. Nepal Day was later renamed as ‘Nepal Ireland Day’ to mark the celebration of growing and deepening friendship between Nepal and Ireland. The event is held in Farmleigh every year and is organized by the Nepal Ireland Society in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal in London, Nepal Tourism Board, and various Nepalese organizations in Ireland.

Further information coming soon.

Please note that parking is limited at Farmleigh Estate (600 spaces.) For those able to use public transport the no 37, 38, 39 & 39a buses serve the Castleknock Gate and Ashtown Gate of the Phoenix Park.
